Logica’s Charge Point Interactive Management System (CiMS) has been shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Best Mobile Innovations for Utilities’ category for the 2011 Global Mobile Awards.
The Global Mobile Awards are the most sought after in the global communications industry. They are presented at the Mobile World Congress, the mobile industry's annual gathering organized by the GSM Association (GSMA). GSMA is an association of mobile operators and related companies devoted to supporting the standardization, deployment, and promotion of the GSM mobile telephone system.

Logica CiMS makes charging an electric vehicle as simple as fuelling a regular vehicle. It is available for use on a mobile phone, and a mobile application displays all charging points available. These features help the driver select a charge point based on proximity and availability. The mobile application also helps drivers navigate to the chosen charge point and acts as the authentication device. Once the charging is complete, the user can make the payment with his mobile phone.
